Thoughts behind “Love Take Over”

A lament...

Things are not as they should be.

An accidental shooting of a young boy leaves a community grieving... and terrified, as black kids have been 6x more likely than white kids, to be shot to death by police in the 21st century.

Despite months of effort, a married couple can't work out their differences, and their children's lives are forever changed.

A new illness has a new bride waiting as her young groom struggles for his life for months. Another loses the battle.

A sibling group is left in the foster care system, in separate homes, for 4 years before their aunt finally steps up to take care of them.

A beloved aging Grandmother sits in the hospital, tormented by her mental illness, feeling alone and afraid, but for most of the time is unable to get any visitors.

Young adult siblings, full of hopes and dreams, are killed in a terrible car wreck, leaving their family devastated, and never the same. Not long later, the family loses another.
