Charleston-based Stefanie Potter is an uplifting “artist of the heart” who writes therapeutic and socially conscious music, influenced by her experiences as a social worker and her compassionate faith. She helps us see the unseen, hear the unheard, and connect across divides, because connection brings healing.
Stefanie’s music blends genres and influences, with most of it in the range of soulful indie rock fusion. Her performances—whether solo, duo, or full band—strike a balance between meaningful depth, spunky determination, and quirky fun.
Stefanie was nominated as a 2026 Female Singer-Songwriter of the Year for the City Paper Music Awards, and won the Charleston Songwriters Showcase and Awards in July. With over 100 original songs, Stefanie has performed at several original music festivals, received an invitation for a Nashville-based artist development gathering, opened for an internationally touring comedian, and was selected out of over 2000 applicants to perform at the Cooper River Bridge Run for three years. Her music has been shared on OHM Radio Charleston, the award-winning “Women of Substance” podcast, various independent radio stations, playlists, magazines, blog features, and news sources. She has released 3 EPs as an independent artist, with the most recent being completely self-produced.
