CD & Book Distribution Avenues

In case you haven't heard, Surviving Service: Effective Response to God's Call for Justice is now an eBook!  It's available on Lulu, Nook, Amazon Kindle, Apple iBookstore, Google Play, and Kobo and Everything Else. The Paperback edition is also available not only through my website, but through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Lulu, and a host of other stores.On a related note, Shifting Winds EP is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Pandora, and Spotify! (In addition to my website and CDbaby.)So how did it happen?  Thankfully, Lulu (my main book distributer) and CDbaby (my main CD distributer) have simple avenues to open most of those doors.  But they also need to be accepted. So glad they were!  Pandora was a whole other long process.

I did run into a bit of a project in converting my book to an eBook.  My computer died back in October, so all I had was my pdf.  But the pdf wasn't in the eBook format.  Thankfully, I found a pdf to word converter. But I learned quickly that converters aren't seamless.  After a ton of editing (and almost giving up on it) I was able to reformat it into an eBook!

What does this mean?  

• First, my music and book are now available in each format/place that people use, making them much more accessible to those who want to listen/read.
• These other avenues don't give as much financial support to my endeavors as purchasing directly through my website or at a show (especially Spotify at less than 1 cent per stream), so thank you so much to those of you have supported me in this way!
• These avenues help tremendously with music (and book) discovery--they now show up in searches and suggestions, and will be put in front of more listeners/readers.  I still need to be the one to find ways to market my work, but how many places they're available helps!  I'm thrilled to have my book and music distributed by all these great avenues.  I'm trusting it will help me reach, encourage, inspire, and equip even more people.   :)
